Dan graduated Marcus Whitman High School in 1974 and he enlisted in the US Army.  After serving his country he began his career in Law Enforcement, working for the Ontario County Sheriff’s Department, Canandaigua Police Department and ultimately retiring from the New York State Police.  Dan has 3 grown children and 2 grandsons and is married to fellow agent Sandy King.  They live in the town of Potter on an 80 acre farm. He has been a business owner, King’s Hitchin’ Rail and is a NYS Certified Code Enforcement Officer with the Department of State.
